Once upon a time, I was a baker. I called it La Pirata Kitchen. Today, I'm a food writer and recipe developer. To keep myself in the habit of writing recipes for other people to use—and to force myself to use my cookbooks and make meals more mindfully—I'm going to send out a weekly sweet or savory recipe and invite questions.
